The harbour has two basins: the inner for professional fishermen and the outer for leisure and guest boats. Amenities include showers, toilets, laundry, cooking areas, and a ticket machine for visiting boats.

Hörte harbour
Hörte is a charming, historically rich village. Once a seasonal fishing spot, it became a permanent settlement in the 19th century. Today, visitors can enjoy:
- Birdwatching – enjoy the rich birdlife from the public birdwatching hide
- Flora – explore the unique flora in the wetlands at Bingsmarken
- Hörte ruin – visit the romantic Hörte ruin, built in 1907

When in Europe, don't miss Skurup
At the Skurup Information Centre, we sell T-shirts featuring the slogan “When in Europe, don’t miss Skurup.” The phrase was coined in 1967 by Bengt Englund, a teacher at Skurups folkhögskola, the town’s independent adult education college. Although it is not Skurup’s official municipal slogan, it has become a beloved expression that we are happy to use and share.
Did you know?
- The slogan was first used by the local handball team Skurups Handboll.
- Free stickers are always available at the Skurup Information Centre and at various events.
- Today, the largest display of the slogan can be found at Skurups Sparbank Arena.
