The depth of the navigable channel and the harbour is 1.5–2.5 metres, but sand and seaweed drift and low tide can occur, which means that the exact depth cannot be guaranteed.
The harbour has two harbour basins. The inner harbour basin is used by professional fishermen while the outer one is used for leisure boats and guest boats.
In the harbour area, there are showers, toilets, washing machine, cooking facilities, and a ticket machine for visiting boats.

At the Skurup Information Centre, we sell T-shirts sporting the logo "When in Europe don’t miss Skurup". The slogan was invented in 1967 by Bengt Englund, who was a teacher at Skurups folkhögskola, the independent adult education college of Skurup. It is not our official municipal slogan, but we like to use it.
