At the Skurup Information Centre, we sell T-shirts featuring the slogan “When in Europe, don’t miss Skurup.” The phrase was coined in 1967 by Bengt Englund, a teacher at Skurups folkhögskola, the town’s independent adult education college. Although it is not Skurup’s official municipal slogan, it has become a beloved expression that we are happy to use and share.
