Skurup offers a good business climate. In a ranking of the business climate made by the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, Svenskt Näringsliv, in the year 2023, Skurup attained place No. 51 among Sweden’s 290 municipalities. A growing and flourishing local business and industry is of vital importance, since this creates the necessary conditions for providing good municipal services.

Company visits

The Municipality of Skurup continuously works to strengthen its cooperation with the Skurup companies by arranging information meetings and company visits where politicians and local government officials take part, and by promoting an active cooperation between the local business community and the schools.

Networking events

The Municipality regularly hosts seminars and networking events where representatives from the economic development organizations are invited to participate.
