Health Care and Welfare Services - Elderly Care
According to the Social Services Act, everyone should be given the opportunity to stay on living in their own home under safe conditions as long as they wish to do so. To make this possible, special assistance is sometimes needed, such as home help services, security alarm, home health care, home modification, etc.
If a person’s care needs can no longer be met at home, the municipality will provide a room for them in an elderly housing facility (assisted living facility).
We will ensure that you get good care and that your needs are met. You will be treated with respect and dignity. It is important for us that you make your own decisions, thereby maintaining your personal integrity, always feeling safe and comfortable.
In order to guarantee and enhance the quality of our care services, quality checks are being performed on a systematic and continuous basis, where the care recipients, their relatives and the nursing staff are asked their view about how the nursing activities are carried out.
