Sights and Attractions
In the Municipality of Skurup, there are lots of thrilling places to discover. We strongly recommend a visit to Svaneholm Castle, one of the most remarkable renaissance castles in Skåne. In the same building, one of Sweden's leading regional museums is located.
If you are interested in the history of motors and technical devices, you must take a trip to the Johanna Museum. There, you can also enjoy the tunes from the large barrel organ.
Skurup’s architecture is characterised by the neo-Gothic brick facings that were used, for example, in the building of the train station.
The stone heaps, runes and ruins have contributed to forming the landscape; the mysterious treasures of our ancestors bear witness of a time long since passed.
If you would like to learn more about our municipality, you should also take a closer look at some of the twelve churches that are of great cultural interest.
