The Municipality of Skurup is situated on the southern coast of Sweden between Malmö and Österlen where the beautiful Söderslätt and the Baltic Sea meet. The rich landscape is characterised by long ridges and vast, open fields, interspersed with farms and medieval castles that are typical for the province of Skåne.

It was here that Nils Holgersson started his wonderful journey through Sweden in the famous novel by Selma Lagerlöf, and to this place he longed to return.

Skurup has a central position in the Öresund region, offering excellent connections to the European Continent. Malmö Airport is situated only 15 kilometres from Skurup, and by train you can reach Copenhagen within less than an hour.
